Abstract
In situ pinning of slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) is a safe and effective treatment modality, but often results in residual deformity leading to femoroacetabular impingement, which may limit patient activities and predispose to early onset arthritis. Enhanced understanding of the implications of femoroacetabular impingement and new surgical techniques have prompted interest in treating post-slipped capital femoral epiphysis deformity to both improve current symptoms and delay or prevent hip arthrosis.Entities:
