Abstract
BACKGROUND: A global, randomized clinical trial indicated the efficacy and safety of apixaban in stroke prevention in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation (NVAF). However, data in the elderly NVAF patients ≥75 years, especially those on reduced dose, are limited.
