Abstract
Two groups of patients with symptomatic Osgood-Schlatter disease were compared over a 4-5 year follow-up period. One group was treated surgically by tibial sequestrectomy and the other group was managed conservatively. Tibial sequestrectomy was found to offer no significant benefit over simple conservative methods of treatment. In addition, a significant complication rate was identified with this procedure.Entities:
