MDS‐UPDRS, Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale; MoCA, Montreal Cognitive Assessment; ApoA1, apolipoprotein A1; CRP, C‐reactive protein.
Data (except where stated) are estimate (95% confidence interval); P value. Models are adjusted for age at diagnosis and sex.
Uric acid was standardized by sex so the adjusted associations are not adjusted with a sex term in the model.

MDS‐UPDRS, Movement Disorder Society Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale; MoCA, Montreal Cognitive Assessment; ApoA1, apolipoprotein A1; CRP, C‐reactive protein.
Data (except where stated) are estimate (95% confidence interval); P value. Models are adjusted for age at diagnosis and sex.
Uric acid was standardized by sex but the adjusted associations are still adjusted with a sex term in the model because the interaction between sex and withdrawal has residual confounding with the standardized uric acid.
