Abstract
A recent paper demonstrates how tissue context impacts the breast cancer cell phenotype. Loss of the E-cadherin tumor suppressor protein enhanced cell invasion, but inhibited multiple steps in metastatic spread due to the accumulation of reactive oxygen species and induction of apoptosis.Entities:
