Abstract
Fusarium head blight (FHB), caused by the fungus Fusarium graminearum, is an economically devastating disease of wheat worldwide. Fhb1, a widely used genetic source of FHB resistance, originated in East Asia. The recent cloning of Fhb1 opens a new avenue to improve FHB resistance in wheat and potentially other crops.Entities:
