#WhyID: Crowdsourcing the Top Reasons to Choose Infectious Diseases in the Age of Twitter.

Abstract

Despite lagging compensation and other challenges for the ID specialty, many compelling reasons still exist for why trainees should strongly consider ID as a specialty. Using Twitter as a crowdsourcing tool, the author shares his top 10 reasons for #WhyID. Published by Oxford University Press on behalf of Infectious Diseases Society of America 2019.
