Abstract
A case of primary infection of the parotid lymph nodes by Mycobacterium avian intracellulare is described. The initial investigations could not exclude a parotid tumour or lymphoma necessitating a superficial parotidectomy. Surgery appears to be the treatment of choice in these lesions.Entities:
