Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Transbronchial lung cryobiopsy (TBLC) is an endoscopic technique proven to be useful in diagnostic approach to interstitial lung disease (ILD), but its role in sarcoidosis is not fully established. The aim of the present study was to assess the diagnostic yield of TBLC in sarcoidosis and its safety profile.Entities:

Data are presented as n (%) or mean±sd. HLS: highly likely sarcoidosis; PS: possible sarcoidosis; ULS: unlikely sarcoidosis; FVC: forced vital capacity; FEV1: forced expiratory volume in 1 s; DLCO: diffusing capacity of the lung for carbon monoxide; DLCO/VA: DLCO adjusted for alveolar volume; BAL: bronchoalveolar lavage; CT: computed tomography.
