Clinicopathologic study of cemento-osseous dysplasia producing cysts of the mandible. Report of four cases.

Abstract

Four cases of peculiar fibro-osseous lesions in the mandible are presented. All of the lesions were located in association with cysts, with or without connection to the cyst walls. According to radiographic as well as histologic studies, the central fibro-osseous lesions were similar to cemento-osseous dysplasia, while the cysts were similar to solitary bone cyst.
