Abstract
Treatment recommendations for childhood obesity include guidance to reduce portions and the consumption of high-energy-dense foods. These messages may unintentionally promote restrictive feeding among parents of children with obesity with excessive hunger. Clinical guidance may benefit from framing treatment messages to parents in the context of a nonrestrictive feeding style.Entities:
