Abstract
The clinical and radiologic manifestations of posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome and reversible cerebral vasoconstriction syndrome are reviewed. The relationship between these entities is discussed. A hypothesis of a common underlying pathophysiology is proposed and substantiated based on the current medical literature.Entities:
