Abstract
Selective external carotid angiography proved effective in the diagnosis of lingual arterial bleeding in seven patients. The cause of the hemorrhage was carcinoma of the tongue in six patients and stab wounds in one. Therapeutic Gelfoam embolization controlled hemorrhaging in four patients.Entities:
