Abstract
The relations between seven genetic systems in six Sicilian communes (a commune is the smallest unit in the Italian administrative system) were explored in a sample of 719 young adults. It was found that there is some correspondence between geographic location and genetic differentiation, through kinship analysis and correspondence analysis. A probable bottleneck or mutation effect was observed in the commune of Vizzini, in Southeastern Sicily, which is characterized by a polymorphic frequency of the allele H of 6PGD.Entities:
