Demonstration of nasolacrimal duct carcinoma by computed tomography.

R Spira1, R Mondshine.

Abstract

Nasolacrimal duct neoplasms are unusual; when they do occur, clinical findings and contrast dacryocystography generally are utilized to establish the diagnosis. We report a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the nasolacrimal duct in which computed tomography was used to confirm the diagnosis and define the extent of the tumor.
