Abstract
Most digitally fabricated removable dentures are currently available in resin only. To overcome this limitation, digitally fabricated dentures were designed by using a general purpose software program rather than a dental computer-aided design (CAD) software program. The functional cusps were made in metal and the denture base in resin with a 3-dimensional (3D) printer. The 2 outputs were combined to complete the metal-containing digitally fabricated dentures. The technique provides new possibilities for making a variety of digital dental prostheses.Year: 2019 PMID: 31540765 DOI: 10.1016/j.prosdent.2019.04.019
