Figure 1Distribution of answers to question 1: ‘Would you worry about a potential height growth suppression of 0.5–2 cm in a child treated with inhaled corticosteroids during a year if it was followed by catch-up growth and had no effect on final height?’ in n=1162 by groups: A: children and adolescents with asthma aged 9–19 years; B: children and adolescents with chronic conditions others than asthma aged 9–19 years; C: school students aged 9–19 years; D: nursing and teacher training college students aged 20–25 years; E: parents to children and adolescents attending a secondary paediatric referral centre; F: parents to healthy school students; and G: paediatricians attending the Danish Society of Paediatrics Annual Meeting 2017.
Figure 2Distribution of answers to question 2: ‘Would you worry about a potential suppression of final height of 0.5–2 cm due to many years’ treatment with an inhaled corticosteroid?’ in n=1159 individuals by groups: A: children and adolescents with asthma aged 9–19 years; B: children and adolescents with chronic conditions others than asthma aged 9–19 years; C: school students aged 9–19 years; D: nursing and teacher training college students aged 20–25 years; E: parents to children and adolescents attending a secondary paediatric referral centre; F: parents to healthy school students; and G: paediatricians attending the Danish Society of Paediatrics Annual Meeting 2017.
Distribution of answers to question 3: ‘If a child with chronic asthma would need continuous treatment with an inhaled corticosteroid which degree of suppression in final height do you feel would be acceptable?’ in n=1156 individuals by groups: A: children and adolescents with asthma aged 9–19 years; B: children and adolescents with chronic conditions other than asthma aged 9–19 years; C: school students aged 9–19 years; D: college students 20–25 years; E: parents to children and adolescents attending a secondary paediatric referral centre; F: parents to healthy school students; and G: paediatricians attending the Danish Society of Paediatrics Annual Meeting 2017
