Renal vein and vena caval thrombus: a rare presentation of emphysematous pyelonephritis.

Abstract

Emphysematous pyelonephritis (EPN) can present with symptoms due to infection or sepsis. EPN presenting with renal vein and inferior vena cava (IVC) thrombus is very rare.
