INTRODUCTION: Tobacco tax policies have been proven to be effective in reducing tobacco consumption, but their impact can be mitigated through price-minimizing behaviours among smokers. Reported prices are in € per standard pack of 20 cigarettes. Purchases of rolling tobacco were converted to grams needed to roll 1 cigarette (0.75 g) and then multiplied by 20 to obtain price per 20 cigarette equivalents.
