Abstract
We evaluated bone quality among South African children with HIV over a 2-year period by quantitative ultrasound (QUS). Children with HIV have persistently lower bone quality compared with controls reflecting increased porosity, reduced strength, and possibly an increased short- and long-term risk of fracture.Entities:
