Abstract
BACKGROUND AND AIM: This study was performed to evaluate the role and accuracy of shear wave elastography in the differentiation between Graves' disease (GD) and Hashimoto's thyroiditis (HT), in comparison with the B-mode ultrasound and color Doppler ultrasound.Entities:

Statistically significant difference between chronic HT and early HT (P<0.01) and non-treated GD (P<0.01), and no significant difference between treated and untreated GD and early HT (P=0.72 and 0.34, respectively).
