Abstract
Given the ubiquity of laparoscopic cholecystectomy in the modern era, the incidence of incidentally diagnosed gallbladder cancers (GBCs) is rising. This unique clinical scenario poses specific challenges regarding the role of staging, re-resection, and adjuvant treatment for patients with this disease.
