Abstract
A homogeneous preparation of exo-beta-1,4-glucanase A from Ruminococcus flavefaciens FD-1 was competitively inhibited by low concentrations (less than 3 mM) of methylcellulose. The enzyme was also sensitive to the surfactant properties of methylcellulose at high methylcellulose concentrations.Entities:
