Abstract
Cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAF) have been implicated in diverse and sometimes divergent tumor modulatory processes that can be explained only by the existence of heterogeneous CAF subsets. In this issue of Cancer Discovery, Elyada and colleagues utilize single-cell transcriptomics to resolve CAF heterogeneity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and identify a novel antigen-presenting CAF population.See related article by Elyada et al., p. 1102. ©2019 American Association for Cancer Research.Entities:
