Figure 1Enhanced CT showed flaky, thickened soft tissue lesions (black arrow) on the right side of the nasal septum.
Figure 2Enhanced CT demonstrated a neoplasm on the left maxillary sinus (black arrow); the size was 4.5 cm*4.0 cm. The nasal septum was obviously compressed, with a right deviation.
Figure 3MRI showed that the soft tissue mass occupied the top of the nasopharynx (black arrow). TIWI showed a moderate signal (A) and T2W1 showed a slightly high signal (B).
Figure 4Microscopic examination revealed that the respiratory lining epithelium and subepithelium contained a mixed tumor. The neoplasm showed epithelial, myoepithelial, and mesenchymal components containing mucoid, myxoid, and chondroid areas (hematoxylin and eosin, 40).
Figure 5Microscopic examination showed frankly malignant areas composed of hyperchromatic nuclei with prominent nucleoli, trabeculae of cells with pleomorphic, back-to-back glands, and numerous mitotic figures/apoptotic bodies (hematoxylin and eosin, 200).
