Urinary retention caused by a large bladder diverticulum: a simple method of diverticulectomy.

Abstract

We report on a 63-year-old man with persistent urinary retention owing to a large bladder diverticulum. To our knowledge this is the second case reported in the literature. A simple technique for excision of large vesical diverticula is described.
