Abstract
A 53-year-old man with a history of primary hypertension for over 8 years underwent Tc-DTPA renal dynamic scintigraphy to evaluate the renal function. The images revealed an unexpected focus of abnormally increased DTPA activity in the region superior to the upper pole of the right kidney. Subsequent MRIs confirmed an adrenal mass. The results of pathological examination and immunohistochemistry after the resection of the lesion were consistent with adrenal pheochromocytoma.Entities:
