Abstract
Non-hydrated organic solutions of a diphenylalanine amphiphile blocked at the C-terminus with a fluorenylmethyl ester and stabilized at the N-terminus with a trifluoroacetate have been used to prepare amyloid fibrils. The solvent used to prepare the stock solution together with the co-solvent added enables regulation of the characteristics of the fibrils, which is important for their use in technological applications.Entities:
