Abstract
The first round of incentives and penalties under the Medicare Skilled Nursing Facility Value-Based Purchasing Program were distributed October 1, 2018. Our results show that facilities serving vulnerable groups were less likely to receive bonus payments and more likely to be penalized.Keywords: Disparities; Skilled Nursing Facility; payment policy; value based purchasing
