Baseline Clinical Characteristics of Total Population
Values are expressed as mean±SD or number (%).
TSH, thyroid stimulating hormone; TPO Ab, thyroid peroxidase antibody; Tg Ab, thyroglobulin antibody; FNAB, fine-needle aspiration biopsy; A/T ratio, anteroposterior/transverse diameter ratio in the transverse view; AUS/FLUS, Atypia of Undetermined Significance/Follicular Lesion of Undetermined Significance.
aIt is the result of FNAB before surgery. AUS/FLUS in cancer group were histologically confirmed as classic papillary thyroid carcinoma by surgery.
Changes in the Thyroid Nodules on Thyroid Ultrasound
Values are expressed as mean±SD or number (%).
Risk Factors for Progression of Thyroid Cancer Nodules in Multiple Linear Regression Analysis
TSH, thyroid stimulating hormone; A/T ratio, anteroposterior/transverse diameter ratio in the transverse view.
Relationship of Pathologic Finding and Rapid Progression of Thyroid Cancer Nodules
0.50Values are expressed as mean±SD.
N, not present; Y, present
Subgroup Analysis of Risk Factors for Progression of Thyroid Cancer Nodules in Patients Who Underwent Preoperative 18F-FDG PET/CT (n=43)
18F-FDG, [18F] fluoro-2-D-deoxyglucose; PET, positron emission tomography; CT, computed tomography; TSH, thyroid stimulating hormone; A/T ratio, anteroposterior/transverse diameter ratio in the transverse view; SUV, standardized uptake value.
