Abstract
We examined the expression level of focally amplified lncRNA on chromosome 1 (FALEC) in cervical cancer patients and explore its clinical value in diagnosis and prognosis of cervical cancer. FALEC was significantly up-regulated in the blood plasma from cervical cancer patients and had significant correlation with tumor size, the FIGO stage, and lymph node metastasis. Furthermore, FALEC overexpression could stimulate proliferation and invasion of Hela cells. FALEC was a potential molecular marker used to diagnose cervical cancer and evaluate prognosis.Entities:
