Abstract
BACKGROUND: Patient falls are considered a challenge to the patient's safety in hospitals, which, in addition to increasing the length of stay and costs, may also result in severe injuries or even the death of the patient. b Type and severity of injury such as minor injury (patients’ complaints of pain, the need for ice packs, bandages, cleaning wounds, swelling, analgesics, etc), moderate injury (cramps, stretching of the muscles, requiring stitches or bed rest), severe injury or death (fracture, surgery, etc).[16]
