Abstract
Prosthetic replacement with modular implants has become the most common reconstructive tech¬nique of bone loss of the lower limb after tumour resection. The use of the megaprosthesis in bone metastasis, silver-coated megaprosthesis and the use of Trevira tube are not uniform and represent an "open question" about the use of megaprosthesis.
