Abstract
There is good evidence that a variety of viruses encode functions that inhibit activation of either ribonuclease L or the Pl/eIF-2 alpha kinase. In general, this capability is evident among viruses that maintain long-term active or latent infections, and must therefore deal with interferon-induced antiviral responses of their hosts.Entities:
