Abstract
Left-sided double valve disease in the setting of extensive mitral annular calcifications and porcelain aorta raises multiple surgical challenges when considering an open surgical repair. We herein present the case of a 67-year-old patient with severe symptomatic aortic and mitral stenosis associated with extensive mitral annular calcifications and porcelain aorta, successfully treated by simultaneous transapical transcatheter aortic and mitral valve implantation.Entities:
