Abstract
BACKGROUND: This study aimed to define the sex-divided reference intervals for platelet indices (mean platelet volume (MPV), platelet distribution width (PDW), platelet large cell ratio (P-LCR) and plateletcrit (PCT)) on the Sysmex XN-10.Entities:

T: total individuals; M: males; and F: females.
Although reported separately, the PDW did not show a significant difference between males and females in Abass et al.
