Abstract
PURPOSE: Recently, posterior retroperitoneoscopic adrenalectomy (PRA) has been reported to have some advantages over laparoscopic transperitoneal adrenalectomy (LTA). The objectives of this study were to report our experience over 12 years with laparoscopic adrenalectomy for primary hyperaldosteronism (PHA) and to examine surgical outcomes of PRA compared with LTA in patients with PHA.Entities:
