Abstract
Since the Expanded Program on Immunization was proposed by the World Health Organization in 1981, it has been promptly adopted by Vietnam as one of the country's national priority programs. In 1986, Vietnam achieved some remarkable goals, including polio-free status and the elimination of neonatal tetanus. At the same time, however, barriers and difficulties have also emerged. This article aims to provide an overview of both achievements and barriers to the implementation of the program and proposes some solutions.Entities:
