Focal therapy for localized prostate cancer: Where do we stand?

Abstract

Focal therapy for localized prostate cancer has emerged as an alternative to whole-gland treatment given its superior side-effects profile and acceptable short-term cancer control. Here we summarize the most relevant evidence related to each focal therapy modality.
