Abstract
BACKGROUND: Intraperitoneal local anesthetic is an effective analgesic approach following laparoscopic cholecystectomy. AIMS: The aim of the present study was to compare the antinociceptive effects of intraperitoneal ropivacaine plus fentanyl with ropivacaine plus dexmedetomidine in patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
