Abstract
A highly fluorescent diarylethene single crystal was successfully designed and prepared. The crystal shows efficient "turn-off" fluorescence photoswitching with full reversibility. This might have originated from the amplified fluorescence quenching due to the intermolecular energy transfer process in the densely packed and well-ordered single crystal.Entities:
