Abstract
A simple in vitro assay is described to quantitate human interleukin-2 (IL-2). It is based on the spontaneous' activation of human peripheral T cells in tissue culture and the subsequent expression of the IL-2 receptor. The results obtained with this assay agree with those of assays which utilise IL-2 dependent T cell clones. The method is highly sensitive, reproducible and easy to perform.Entities:
