Correction to: Scientific Reports 10.1038/s41598-018-31873-w, published online 13 September 2018 This Article contains errors in Tables 2, 5 and 6. In Table 2, the subheading ‘Krakenb’ should read ‘Krakenbd’ In Table 5, for the MetaPhlAn2 (Unix) method, the sensitivity and PPV values should read as 78% and 54% respectively. For the MIDAS (Unix) method, the sensitivity and PPV values should read as 78% and 21% respectively. In Table 6, the subscript note a has been incorrectly included in the subheading ‘CLC Genomics Workbencha’, which should read ‘CLC Genomics Workbench’
