Categorical variables are expressed as the count / column total (percentage), and continuous variables are expressed as the median (range). P-values were determined with chi-squared tests for categorical variables and Mann-Whitney U tests for continuous variables. BP = Blood Pressure, ICU = Intensive Care Unit, R$ = Brazilian Real.
Figure 1Reconstruction alternatives. Hip medialization technique with a polyethylene proximal femur prosthesis was used to reconstruct a I – IV pelvic resection in an adult patient (A). No bone reconstruction was used after a I + II pelvic resection in a pediatric patient.
