Abstract
A phage typing of 202 strains of Mycobacterium tuberculosis isolated in Central and Northwest Spain was carried out. The commonest phage type was A (64%) and within this type A (45%). This was followed in frequency by phage type B (26%) and in last place type I (10%). No relationship was observed between the phage type and the geographical or anatomical origin of the strains.Entities:
