Determination of ADP-ribosyl arginine anomers by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography.

M Tsuchiya, Y Tanigawa, K Mishima, M Shimoyama.

Abstract

A simple and rapid method for the determination of ADP-ribosyl arginine anomers was devised. Analysis is performed by reverse-phase high-performance liquid chromatography on a 5-micron Cosmosil 5C18 column and uv detection. ADP-ribosylation of arginine by hen liver ADP-ribosyl-transferase and the effect of pH on anomerization are also presented.
