Abstract
Dermatophytic mycetoma of the scalp is a rarity, especially when not associated with tinea capitis. Here, we report a case of dermatophytic mycetoma of the scalp, that was not associated with tinea capitis, caused by an atypical Microsporum audouinii strain. To our knowledge, this is the second reported case, thirty-eight years after the first that was published in 1980.Entities:
