Abstract
Epithelial ovarian cancer relapse is a devastating condition with a poor prognosis. Synthetic mesh carcinogenicity is an entity scarcely reported in the literature. We present a rare case of an ovarian serous tumor relapsed in a polypropylene mesh previously inserted for pelvic organ prolapse correction and a review of the available literature. Our case report point to a possible association between synthetic mesh and ovarian cancer relapse.Entities:
