The weighted number of respondents by location was 154 (79%) White British to 41 (21%) Pakistani in Blackburn; 137 (72%) White British to 54 (28%) Pakistani in Bradford; and 116 (67%) White British to 56 (33%) Pakistani in Luton.

Adjusting for income reduced the sample size (n = 326); therefore, income was omitted from all models. Income diminished the significance of depression.
Anxiety was entered as an alternative to PTSD due to collinearity. The results for tobacco, illicit drug and alcohol use in model 4 were sustained when anxiety or PTSD were also entered into the model.
