Abstract
PURPOSE: This was a retrospective analysis of the impact of the expression of p53 in the dys-plastic surgical margins of early oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) (pT1-2, N0). PATIENTS AND METHODS: Seventy-two patients with early oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) were recruited. Margin characteristics were abstracted from the pathology report. Expression of p53 in dysplastic surgical margins was examined with the immunohistochemical method and was correlated with clinicopathological parameters and clinical outcomes.Entities:
